Tech Tip of the Month

Welcome to our Tech Tip of the Month! Each month, we bring you a handy tech tip to boost your productivity and streamline your workflow.

Here are some of our favorite shortcuts that we use daily. With just a few less clicks, you’ll find your workflow becoming more efficient and productive!

Shortcut Spotlight: Windows + V

Are you tired of losing copied text or juggling multiple snippets? Unlock your clipboard history with Windows + V — a game-changing shortcut for productivity!

What It Does:

  • Opens a list of your recent copied items (text, images, links).
  • Lets you paste, pin, or delete clipboard entries.
  • Syncs across devices (if enabled)!

How to Turn It On:

  1. Go to Settings > System > Clipboard.
  2. Toggle Clipboard history to On.

No more re-copying. Just press, pick, and paste!

Other Useful Shortcuts

Windows + S: Open Search

Open the search bar to quickly find files, apps, or settings on your PC. This is a great way to locate what you need without digging through folders.

Windows + Arrow Keys: Snap Windows

Snap your active window to different parts of the screen. Use this shortcut to organize your workspace by arranging multiple windows side by side.

Windows + Tab: Open Task View

View all your open windows and virtual desktops. This shortcut helps you switch between tasks efficiently and manage your workflow better.

Windows + Shift + S: Take a Screenshot

Capture a portion of your screen with Snip & Sketch. This is useful for quickly grabbing images or information without using the Print Screen button.

Windows + Ctrl + D: Create a New Virtual Desktop

Create a new virtual desktop to separate different tasks or projects. This helps keep your workspace organized and focused.

Windows + Ctrl + F4: Close the Current Virtual Desktop

Close the virtual desktop you are currently using. This is handy for cleaning up your workspace when you no longer need a separate desktop.

We hope you find these shortcuts as useful as we do! Stay tuned for more tech tips next month to keep your productivity soaring. Happy computing!
