Connected Platforms Pty Ltd (ABN 55 167 542 434) (we, us, our) is an IT managed service provider based in Brisbane, Queensland. We are committed to protecting the privacy of the personal information we hold.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). It applies to personal information collected through our website, by email, by phone, and in the course of delivering our managed IT services.

- Enquiry and communication records — messages submitted through our website contact forms, emails, and notes from phone calls
- Service delivery information — technical details about your IT environment collected during onboarding and in the course of providing managed IT services
- Financial information — billing details and payment records (we do not store full credit card numbers)
- Website usage data — IP address, browser type, pages visited, and other analytics data collected automatically when you visit our website
We collect personal information about individuals in their capacity as representatives of business clients or prospects. We do not generally collect sensitive information (as defined in the Privacy Act) unless required to deliver a specific service.

- During service delivery — when we access your systems, conduct IT assessments, or communicate with your staff in the course of managing your IT environment

- Technology vendors and cloud platforms — including Microsoft (Microsoft 365, Azure, Teams), Kaseya/Datto (backup and recovery), SentinelOne (endpoint protection), Huntress (managed detection and response), 3CX, and Yealink — in the course of configuring, managing, or supporting your IT environment
- Professional advisers — including accountants and legal advisers, under confidentiality obligations
- Regulatory bodies or law enforcement — where required by law
Cross-border disclosure (APP 8)
Some of the platforms we use store or process data overseas (including in the United States and other jurisdictions). Where we disclose personal information to overseas recipients, we take reasonable steps to ensure those recipients handle it in a manner consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles. By engaging our services, you acknowledge that your information may be processed by these platforms.
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
We may occasionally contact you with information about our services, relevant IT news, or industry updates. You can opt out of marketing communications at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email, or by contacting us directly. We will process your opt-out promptly.
Our website uses cookies and analytics tools (including Google Analytics) to help us understand how visitors use the site, improve content, and measure the effectiveness of our marketing. This data is collected in aggregate and is generally not linked to identifiable individuals.

As an IT managed service provider, security is central to everything we do. We take reasonable steps to protect the personal information we hold from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, including:
- Encrypted transmission of data in transit (HTTPS)
- Access controls and role-based permissions for staff
- Endpoint protection and monitoring on our own systems (SentinelOne, Huntress)
- Secure cloud storage through enterprise-grade platforms
- Regular security reviews and staff training
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to deliver our services, meet our legal obligations, and resolve any disputes. When personal information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify it securely.
We are subject to the Notifiable Data Breaches (NDB) scheme under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). If we become aware of a data breach that is likely to result in serious harm to any individual whose personal information is involved, we will notify the affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) as required by law.
You have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, and to ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. To make a request, contact us using the details in Section 13 below.
We will respond to access and correction requests within a reasonable time. In some circumstances we may be unable to provide access (for example, where it would affect the privacy of another person or where an exception under the Privacy Act applies). If we refuse, we will explain why in writing.
If you believe we have handled your personal information in a way that does not comply with the Australian Privacy Principles, you can make a complaint by contacting us using the details below. We will investigate your complaint and respond within 30 days.
