Stop Reacting to IT Problems. Start Running Ahead of Them.
Connected Platforms is a Brisbane managed service provider for businesses with 10--100 staff. Proactive IT management, fixed monthly costs, and a local team who picks up the phone.
๐ SMB1001 Gold Certified ยท Brisbane-based team ยท No lock-in contracts
Most Brisbane businesses tolerate IT that costs more than it should and delivers less than it could.
Break-fix IT sounds cheaper until you add up the downtime. In-house IT sounds safer until your one person leaves. The status quo has a cost -- it's just hidden.
Unpredictable IT bills
Something breaks, someone fixes it, you get an invoice. No visibility, no budget certainty, no pattern to fix the root cause.
Reactive, not proactive
Problems get fixed after they cause pain. Nobody's monitoring the environment looking for issues before staff hit them.
Vendor blame games
Internet provider blames your router. IT guy blames the internet. Microsoft blames both. Nobody owns the outcome.
No IT roadmap
Decisions made under pressure, not strategy. No visibility into what's ageing, what's at risk, or what should come next.
Managed IT that covers the whole environment -- not just the things that break loudly.
Our managed service is a fixed monthly fee that covers everything from proactive monitoring to Microsoft 365 management and security. No surprises.
Proactive monitoring and patching
We monitor your environment 24/7 and patch systems before vulnerabilities become incidents.
Brisbane-based help desk
Local team, phone and ticket support, fast response. No overseas call centres.
Microsoft 365 management
Licencing, configuration, security policies, email protection, and Teams -- fully managed.
Backup and disaster recovery
Tested recovery, not just backup jobs that run and nobody checks. We prove it works regularly.
Cybersecurity essentials
MFA enforcement, endpoint protection, email filtering, and security awareness -- built into the service.
Quarterly IT reviews
We sit down with you four times a year to review what's working, what's aging, and what the next 12 months should look like.

What's the difference between a managed service provider and break-fix IT?
Break-fix IT charges you when something goes wrong and fixes it. A managed service provider monitors your environment proactively, prevents problems where possible, and charges a fixed monthly fee whether or not anything breaks. The cost model and incentive structure are completely different -- an MSP benefits from your systems running well, not from problems occurring.
How much does managed IT cost?
Our managed IT service runs from approximately $62 per user per month for essential coverage. The exact price depends on your staff count, infrastructure complexity, and what's included. We publish our pricing at connectedplatforms.com.au/managed-it-services-pricing/ so you can get a rough number before talking to us.
Do we need to switch IT providers completely to work with CP?
Yes -- managed IT is an all-in engagement. We can't effectively manage an environment we only partly own. If you're currently in a contract with another provider, we can help you understand what the transition looks like and work around your exit date.
How long does onboarding take?
Typically 30--60 days depending on your environment size. We phase the transition so your staff don't notice the changeover, and we run the environment in parallel during handover to make sure nothing is missed.
What happens if something goes wrong outside business hours?
Critical incidents are covered 24/7. For monitoring alerts that require immediate action, we have after-hours coverage for severity-1 issues. Routine support runs during business hours (7am--6pm Mon--Fri, Brisbane time).
