One managed service, with the essentials included

Support, Microsoft 365, security and ongoing management are designed to work together. Your proposal confirms the people, locations and systems covered, while the core service remains consistent.

What the recurring service covers

These six areas cover the work most businesses need to keep people productive, systems maintained and technology decisions moving in the right direction.

People and support

Remote IT support, onsite support at included locations, onboarding and offboarding, device management, monitoring and routine maintenance.

Microsoft 365 and identity

Microsoft 365 Business Premium, administration, security settings, Intune, identity protection, email security and phishing protection.

Cybersecurity

Endpoint protection including antivirus and EDR, managed SOC monitoring, awareness training and approved patch management.

Backup and infrastructure oversight

Microsoft 365 backup, monitoring of selected server and workstation backups, network monitoring, device health and escalation of detected risks.

Suppliers and licences

Licence management, coordination with approved internet, phone and software providers, and selected domain and DNS management.

Planning and alignment

IT strategy, budgeting, scheduled reviews, discovery, prioritisation, pre-project scoping and visibility through the Horizon client portal.

Why the service works as one whole

The value is not simply a list of tools. It is having one team connect support, security and planning so issues are followed through instead of passed between providers.

One place to get help

Staff contact one support team, which coordinates any other approved technical providers involved in the issue.

Recurring problems are reviewed

Faults, risks and business changes are considered during service reviews and technology planning rather than disappearing into ticket history.

Management gets visibility

Horizon and scheduled reviews provide visibility of tickets, system health, Microsoft 365, security and planned work.

Straightforward commercial terms

The current agreement is designed to be clear and flexible. These are the practical points most businesses want to understand before they proceed.

1

Notice period

Either party may end the service with at least 30 days written notice under the current agreement.

2

No remaining-term exit fee

The notice period, approved work, hardware and third-party commitments already incurred remain payable.

3

First 30 days

Recurring managed-service fees may be refundable under the conditions set out in the agreement.

4

Annual pricing review

After the first 12 months, managed-service pricing may be reviewed annually with the notice required by the agreement.

5

Projects require approval

Separate project, product or specialist work is scoped and priced before it proceeds.

6

Supported offboarding

Connected Platforms assists during the notice period. Separately agreed offboarding work remains payable.

What is included and what is planned separately

The monthly service covers the recurring work that keeps the environment running. Larger projects, extra products and unusual requirements are discussed and approved separately, so there are fewer surprises.

Projects and extras

Onboarding, inherited remediation, projects, custom work, hardware, cloud consumption, extra licences, formal audits, disaster-recovery projects, planned after-hours work and agreed offboarding work.

What helps the service work well

Authorised contacts, accurate service quantities, approved request channels, reasonable access and cooperation, supported devices and software, timely approvals and payment of agreed services.

Simple per-user pricing

The current recurring price is $310 per supported user each month. A typical onboarding is around $4,400, but the final amount depends on the environment and any remediation required.

10 supported users

$3,100 per month

25 supported users

$7,750 per month

50 supported users

$15,500 per month

Common questions

Useful details to know before you compare providers.

Is every piece of IT work included?

No. The recurring service covers the selected managed users, systems and locations. Projects, hardware, extra licences, formal audits and work outside the agreed scope need separate approval.

Is Microsoft 365 included?

Microsoft 365 Business Premium is included for selected paid Managed Users where stated in the proposal. Additional or upgraded licences are charged separately.

Does the service include onsite support?

Yes, at included service locations and within the agreement boundaries. The support team decides whether remote or onsite work is the practical response.

What document takes priority?

Your signed proposal, agreement schedule, numbered terms and incorporated appendices take priority over this plain-language summary.
