Managed IT Services for Healthcare Brisbane
Healthcare IT support built around patient data, clinical continuity and secure access.
Healthcare providers handle sensitive information and depend on technology during every consultation. Privacy obligations apply across the sector, while My Health Record requirements and RACGP guidance may also apply depending on the practice and systems in use. IT needs to support those responsibilities without interrupting patient care.
Built for the way your business works
Healthcare IT is not ordinary office IT
A practice-management system or network failure during clinic hours affects appointments, staff and patient care immediately. Recovery priorities, device reliability and access controls need to reflect how the practice actually operates.
Connected Platforms supports GP, allied health, dental and specialist environments by managing the technology around clinical software, Microsoft 365, endpoints, networks, backup and security through one accountable service.
What healthcare IT management covers
Support, security and planning delivered as one connected service.
Clinical application environment
Support for devices, access, integrations and vendor coordination around platforms such as Best Practice, MedicalDirector, Genie and Cliniko.
Identity and access controls
Secure access, MFA, device policies and audit settings aligned to the systems and obligations relevant to your practice.
Patient data security
Encryption, endpoint protection, email security and Essential Eight-aligned controls for sensitive health information.
Local helpdesk and onsite support
Brisbane-based support with onsite assistance when clinical or administrative systems need hands-on attention.
Backup and disaster recovery
Encrypted, tested backups with recovery priorities designed around the practice’s operating requirements.
Hardware and network management
Workstations, printers, networks and supporting infrastructure monitored and managed as one environment.
Keep the practice moving while improving security over time
Healthcare organisations should not have to manage separate providers for support, security, Microsoft 365, backup and planning. Our managed IT service brings those responsibilities together with one clear owner.
Is This the Right Fit?
We work with specific types of businesses. Being honest about this saves everyone's time.
- ✓You're a GP practice, allied health clinic, dental or specialist with 3 to 100 staff
- ✓Your practice management software (Best Practice, MedicalDirector, Genie, Cliniko) is critical to daily operations
- ✓You need IT that understands clinical workflows -- not IT that treats your systems like a general office
- ✓You handle patient data and want security and privacy controls managed properly and consistently
- ✓You want one accountable IT partner rather than multiple vendors with no clear owner
- ✕You're a hospital or large health network with 200 or more staff and enterprise IT requirements
- ✕You're a single-practitioner using consumer-grade IT with no staff to support
- ✕You're looking for a clinical software vendor -- we manage the IT environment around clinical software, we don't supply it
- ✕You want break-fix support -- we don't do one-off call-outs
Not sure? A 20-minute call will answer that question for both of us.

What does healthcare IT management cost?
Per-seat pricing based on the number of staff and devices. Healthcare environments often have additional security requirements that affect scope. See our pricing page or call 07 3062 6932.
Do you work with our practice management software?
Yes. We work alongside Best Practice Software, Genie Solutions, Cliniko and other vendors. We manage the hardware, network and Microsoft 365 environment, and coordinate directly with clinical software vendors when integration or access issues arise.
How do you handle patient data security?
We implement endpoint protection, email security, MFA, encrypted backup and Essential Eight-aligned controls. We configure your environment to support your My Health Record and privacy obligations. Regulatory obligations are confirmed with your compliance advisers -- we implement the technical controls.
What happens if a system fails during clinic hours?
We prioritise clinical system outages. Our Brisbane-based team has remote access tools to diagnose most issues immediately, and can be onsite when hands-on work is needed. We also help establish continuity procedures so a system failure has a fallback rather than a complete stop.
How long does onboarding take?
Typically 2 to 6 weeks depending on practice size and complexity. We work around clinic hours to minimise disruption and run parallel with your existing setup until everything is confirmed working.
